The Entertainer

The Entertainer is an amazing song by Scott Joplin in the traditional ragtime style. I first learned Janita Baker's arrangement for DAA#D diatonic dulcimer, found in her book "Fingerpicking Dulcimer". With the help of Karen Mueller (my teacher at the time) I rearranged that arrangement for DAD dulcimer with some extra frets. You can see me play that arrangement here:

Now in 2025, I have reworked that arrangement for DAD chromatic dulcimer, smoothing out some tricky spots and completing some of the patterns Joplin composed. That is the version you can purchase here. Here are some details about it:
